Back in September we were thriled to have Hedy Goldsmith, acclaimed pastry chef from Michael's Genuine Food & Drink, as one of the judges for our Pies & Thies pie contest. What a turnout! With over 100 guests at the Historic Barnacle park in Coconut Grove, we had more than 25 delicious & homemade pies submitted to the contest. See this video where Hedy shares her thoughts on what makes a good pie. Of course, as Slow Food Miami, fresh and local is what we think is most important.
